The Community Services Program delivers a range of workforce development initiatives in the health and welfare sectors. These include training, implementation support, consultation and supervision. 

Our program staff have expertise in various topics such as:

Workforce development projects range from large scale, state-wide implementation projects to working with a small team within an agency to train and support staff implementing a new program area or to improve existing service delivery.  Examples include:

The Community Services Team is also able to produce a range of resources to support workforce development.  Recent examples include:

  • LYFT (Linking Youth and Families Together) Practice Manual, in collaboration with Anglicare Victoria
  • Family Inclusive  Practice Guidelines (In progress)
  • Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Practice Wisdoms (In progress)

The Community Services program is staffed by experienced family therapists with specialist skills in training and consultation. They include Naomi Rottem (Acting Program Manager), Jacqui Sundbery (Acting Team Leader) and Pam Rycroft.
